Preface:
The following information is provided to you, the DOOR author,
for your consideration when creating your DOORs. The inclusion
of this information is in no way an endorsement or rejection of
the principles put forth by Mr. Clements. We have provided an
interface from DOORPCH 3.4 to be used by Mr. Clements "Security
System". The authors of DOORPCH fully believe in the Shareware,
Freeware, Doorware and all the other "ware" concepts. You, as a
DOOR author, do have the right to enforce any security system you
wish. DOORPCH was developed to create DOORS - not make Shareware
policy. We feel it is most important to make this point
perfectly clear. This information is "packaged" with the DOORPCH
code as a courtesy to Mr. Clements for all the hard work and
money he has invested in the development of DOORPCH standards.
The "security" code is his and his alone.
Clint Labarthe, Terry Shockley
Door Authors:
Anyone wanting to find out more about Door Security System 2.0, a
DoorPch 3.4 enhancement, please contact Raymond Clements, SysOp
of The Pegasus BBS at (502)684-9855. This is a security system
for your doors that is designed for use with DoorPch 3.4 by one
of it's authors. It can be used to protect your doors from
programs like "LivePlus" or just as a way to keep track of how
many SysOps are using your doors by the serial numbers kept
within the security system.
Sincerely,
Raymond Clements
